Gnargore Wizard Council

What is it?

Following on from recent releases "The Chronicles of Gnarnia" and "Bare Merk", "Wizard Council" is the fifth (I think…) video from the Black Country crew known throughout the land as Gnargore. never ones to take themselves too seriously, Gnargore are proud producers of very traditional scene videos, so expect a mixture of shit spots, creative and realistic skating, fast metal and some questionable clothing choices.

Highlights

Gnar-Youth Ryan Price kicks things off in a very typical Gnargore fashion, with aggro punk, a love for headbands and leather jackets, a savage drop in fifty-fifty on a kinked rail and a well popped wheelchair kicker ollie. Harrison Thom has become a staple part of Gnargore releases, constantly doing battle with the numerous battered bank spots around the Midlands and DIY ramp set-ups. He even uses a can of Stella to prop up a wallie bar - props!

Arran Burrows has a short but rad section, mixing up the usual array of banks and wallies with some legit handrail boardslides, fullcabs down stairs, and a sick ollie line over a kinked rail. Wig and Carr hit up several parks around the local area, and the man responsible for Wizard COuncil, Tom Gillespie, treats you to a full section with more grimy spots getting a good seeing to. The switch front shuvs ender is banging! Dan Jordan might dress like someone out of Towers of london, but some of his footage is sick, especially the pipe ride intro and his no-comply repertoire. James Jones has a touch of Adam Moss about him, skates to "New Rose" by The Damned and fit fifties a dead pigeon, but don't be fooled by his disrespectful use of deceased animals, he's got some schockers up his sleeve.

James Denning isn't afraid to leap down massive block threes of backside 360 ghetto sets of stairs, and Joel Taylor takes the comedy slam of the video the proceeds to step to nosegrind hefty handrails and bang a perfect tree down the Wolverhampton supermarket set. Thomas Hinton has the last section and fulfils the manny quota for the video; giving the Gnargore twist to some Daewon style manoeuvres but still keeps it real with wallrides and rough banks aplenty.

Overall

It's as DIY as it gets, loud, raw, enjoyable and very distinctively Gnargore.
